When you attend my masterclasses, you learn techniques and tricks to tell your story with confidence, capture stories from others using ethical practices and make great looking and sounding videos.

A common problem with training - whether online or in-person - is there's no follow-up, so you forget everything you've learned. I offer a 30-min online clinic for every attendee with all masterclasses, for trouble shooting, asking questions and getting feedback on videos.

In this half-day in-person masterclass you’ll make a 1-minute video from start to finish. It’s jam-packed with valuable training, tips and techniques in how to plan, film and edit an entire film using just your smartphone and a few inexpensive accessories.
You’ll learn how to plan and structure your video using a template, how to present with confidence, how to make best use of lighting, sound, framing and locations to achieve great looking and sounding footage, and simple editing techniques with a user-friendly editing app to polish your video ready for uploading.

I have developed an approach based on trauma-informed practices to put my contributors at ease, develop trust and help them feel safe to share their stories. In this workshop I will share my processes to help you gather content ethically.
