During the workshop you will be taught essential filmmaking skills with which to plan, film and edit a simple 'talking head' style video. The workshop will cover the following:

Writing your script using a simple story template

Learning what makes a suitable filming location

Learning about lighting, sound and framing

Presentation techniques to boost confidence

Simple editing techniques such as trimming and assembling clips, adding music and simple graphics
The booking includes a 30-min follow-up online clinic, which must be taken within a month of the masterclass, where you can ask any filmmaking questions and get appraisals on your videos.

Software
You'll be editing on your mobile device using a video editing app called Kinemaster, which is available for Android and iOS devices (not available on desktop).
Please download and install Kinemaster app onto your device before the workshop to ensure device compatibility.

Kinemaster for iOS
Kinemaster offers a free version with in-app purchases. The free version is adequate for learning, but upgrade/subscription is recommended for watermark-free video creation.
